Forthcoming single release ‘Rise Again’ by Kate Luck is a song about finding the strength to get up and keep moving forward, no matter what the obstacles are and to persevere in the face of adversity. An artist that will charm and intrigue, Kate’s work is both deeply personal yet universal in its theme.
After 5 years living and writing music in France, and working as a vocalist on record releases in Australia (‘All About The People’) and Italy (Off Limits Records: ‘Get Down’, ‘Nel Blu’, Kate has returned to the UK, and is now based in Kent.
The track was written and produced in London and Los Angeles by Kate and Rob Persaud, and the release version has been remixed by Simon Mills – one half of UK electronic duo Bent. ‘Rise Again’ is a soulful slice of synth laden electronic pop with musical influences ranging from early Massive Attack to Kate Bush, Air and Zero 7.
